Case recommendation for my wife

Hi!

Since this is for my wife, I can't cheap out or I'll be in for it. I am looking for a good case in terms of space and cooling.

I have a Cooler Master 830 Evo, but for her that would be overkill!

No SLI or Crossfire, she doesn't want a window and doesn't care if it glows or lights up. She'd be moving from a Dell Dimesion 1000R (1Ghz PIII) Mini-tower case.

Currently on the parts list aside from a 22" LCD, is Blue Ray Optical drive (SATA), 500GB or so SATA HDD, Good gaming Video Card (Need a recommendation on that as well), 3.0Ghz Dual Core CPU, 4GB RAM, and Vista (She currently uses XP PRO SP3). I'm sure I'm forgetting something. THE PSU will be determined after all the parts are confirmed, as well as the actual ASUS MB, but it will be ATX form factor.

I'd like some mature and well thought out responses, as we are both over 40 years old. Thanks in advance.

Ok, I've looked arround, and I'm decided to go with the COOLER MASTER RC-690-KKA1-GP Black SECC/ ABS ATX Mid Tower Computer Case Real Power Pro 550W Power Supply.

I'm gonna take this to the other forums to answer my other questions.

Funny this, the day I post this inquiry, I finally find a case!! The forum works wonders!!

The 690 is quite large and can be a dust magnet as it is so porous. You may also not want to set anything on top of it because of the plastic bezel on top - I use the top of my case for all sorts of things. Usually my scanner sits up there with yet other stuff on top of it... Take a look at the Rosewill R5600 series. My current fave is the R5605-BK which was on special last I looked. The series is all on the same chassis so there are only two things: the 5605 version lacks a reset button (can be worked around), and the 5601 has a dedicated floppy drive bay (no other 3.5" bay device can be used there w/o cutting the bezel).
