I'm ordering the parts for my new rig, and I'm looking for any suggestions as to what case I should get. Money really isn't an issue, so I'm open to just about anything. I was originally going to get the Lian-Li V1000B, but I've heard some complaints about it being too loud. Anyways, here's what I'll be putting in it.

A8R32-MVP
X2 4800+
OCZ 2gig titanium series PC3200
2x x1900xt in crossfire
Enermax liberty 620w
Zalman Reserator 1 Plus

Those are the basics... let me here some suggestions!

i like that antec case he listed..... i just built my first rig, and i.. just having enough money and going a little hungry lol got to spend 99$ on a case.
Edit: it was a one day sale from newegg. x.x
I got the Tsunami Dream http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811133132 which is abit bigger than I had anticipated but I love it.

Also check out..
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811112040

and if your looking for something something a little cheaper...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811119077

i still like that antec he listed

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811129154

sound is going to depend alot on your power supply, and the size of your casefans.
youll find most people to be absurd about how quiet they want their cases...so you cant trust all reviewers.
i hope you find what your looking for.

I recently bought the ThermalTake Tai Chi based on the AT article LINK

I have not been disappointed. Since you are going with a crossfire setup, it important you get some ventilation over those cards. The tai chi offers that and so do many others. Just something to look for.

I'm really into the Silverstone cases at the moment. I've also heard good things about Enermax cases, especially considering the price.

Thanks for the advice, guys... that antec looks nice, but I'm still shoppin around. Remember, money's no issue on this. Also, it looks like I might switch over and go with dual 7900gtx in sli. Just in time, eh? I was sad moving away from nvidia, but it looks like they've put themselves back on top =0) I hated that clumsy crossfire setup anyways. Keep the suggestions coming!

Also, I think I want to head in a direction that doesn't involve a front panel that opens and closes. I'll have an X-fi platinum head unit which I'd like to have readily accessible.

Since Zepper said we'll let it slide Here is my humble offering.

OP, you should look at our Cases & Cooling Forum. Do a search for high-end cases or re-post over there if the pickings get slim here...OK

http://www.silverstonetek.com/products-tj07.htm

Do note how thick the aluminum is for the construction of this case. It does come in black but I like my alloy natural.
Note that the mainboard installs in what is considered the proper orientation=far less hassels with heat piped MBs and VGA coolers.
Note this is not a LAN Party case, at 12.9kg empty it is no light weight.
Note how substantial the frame work is...Wowzers!!
Note that it uses two rear 92mm exhaust fans and not a single 120mm..Why?? Because with 2-92s they can offer a slide out mainboard tray=very nice to work with.
At $350+it will make most catch their breath but it is a keeper.

I see you already have a good PSU. Silverstone does provide some good'ens made by Enhance.

I have two Lian Li midis and love the brand but if I were you, I'd do a search of the C&C Forum on that very case to see whats been said.

The mainboard installs up-side-down and that is not*bad*but does present it's difficulties. Enough said.

Thaniks for the heads up. I am, though, aware of the issues. I am purposely avoiding heatpipes because of the problems it causes. Anyhow, I like the upside down look and feel, and i look forward to piecing it together!
