case with a7n8x deluxe?

so i ordered all the parts for a new computer off newegg. Went with the a7n8x Deluxe. Well i ordered the Enlight 7225. But the case doesn't fit. Like the place where the usb sound monitor outputs are at don't match. Would it be alright to just try to take that part of the case off and try to make it just an empty rectangle or should i just return this to newegg?

and if i get a newcase which one to get? Looks really isn't that big of a deal but i don't want something that looks crappy

well, if im not mistaken i think that it comes with a black plate in the package.

EDIT: yep, checked teh website here. its supposed to have an I/O shield. (scroll down to accessories)

alright i found the io case. How the heck do i take the other one off from the case? it doesn't seem like it pops off?

It pops off (from the outside in).....you may just have to jab at it a few times with a screwdriver.

Apply firm pressure from the outside towards the inside of the case. Thumbs on one corner at a time work well. Unless it is stamped into the sheet metal (which I doubt), it'll pop out with some force. If it is stamped, time to bust out the dremel :Q

yes it should be ok as long as you dont rip your cables around and stuff while they're plugged in

The A7N8X basic and deluxe, come with a back plate to replace the one in the case. Just snap out the one in the case and snap in the one that came with the mother board. I jus puchased the A7N8X non-deluxe and I am in the process to install it.
