Yeah I've been watching the Switch to Linux YouTube channel where Tom there goes on rants about this sort of thing. That's how I find out about it. He also mention that Amazon is planning on doing the same thing.I've noticed that, freaking scary stuff. What's even more scary is if Google can do that, then what stops more malicious parties from doing it too? I really hate how our tech is coded with zero privacy in mind these days to allow such code to even execute. It is in theory possible to have this technology available to us, without infringing on our privacy, the problem is that no one is coding it that way because there's too much money in selling private information, and somehow this is legal. Well the government tracks our every move too so why would they make it illegal. We live in a scary world really.
I've also learned about Facebook's Shadow Accounts they have been keeping on people who don't use it as well.
