The resolution on this thing is pretty bad, just my experience.

Geez........sure it's not TFT, but the resolution is more than satisfactory for its size......I've two of them, well, the 980 model, and it's served me well for its intended purpose. It's NOT a 45" widescreen and doesn't pretend to be. It's alightweight, 2.3" color LCD TV that's easilyportable, decent reception, and decent picture. Works great to catch something when you're traveling or camping or whatever. Take mine fishing and watch some ball or whatever during the day. Very convenient and what the heck do you expect for $50?

I bought one of these off someone for like 13 bucks. Even for 13 bucks the screen was pretty awful.

Local stores probably sell this screen for the same price if not less. I am pretty sure I saw a better one at Sams or Bjs for 59.99 with a better screen.

Yeah, Sams does have this one for $62 locally in St. Louis. It's supposedly 'better' than TFT according to the packaging. They also had a 1.8" Axion handheld for $39.99 that is TFT. Almost grabbed one tonight.
