i had the older version 4mp exilim. i got rid of it and replaced with pentax.

both had not-too-vibrant colors even when taking photos under sunlight during the day. i had a kodak before. now the colors were great, but the camera died on me.

i think the smaller camera what you get in size you lose in color.

Supposedly, they've fixed those issues with the newer Exilim. Colors are actually TOO saturated by default and need to be turned down in a menu for optimal results.

I have the 7mp casio. MogyBear is right it has lovely super saturated colors but I love it.

Well supposedly at one point on the 4th Dell had the base price down to $415 so you could get it for cheaper, but they raised it before I got in on the deal.

Unfortunately we've dropped it on pavement twice. Camera works great but quite a few dings on the outside.....

Buy.com just shipped me one at $353 (no tax) yesterday after ordering it on backorder over the weekend. The downside was that I couldn't use my $10 coupon as they said it was only good for in-stock items.

A good news, probably Dell will have it in stock soon. I wish buy.com do not charge tax in California.
