Well the people claiming what she said was not true have a well documented history of lying about literally everything.

So while I'm not certain all of her writings and testimony are accurate I wouldn't change my view of that in any way just because a bunch of liars who always deny everything deny it.

Like sure she’s right leaning so she’s going to help a R POTUS. But I question her values to work with someone so corrupt long before everything we saw after 2016 let alone after November 2020.

While attending Christopher Newport University, Hutchinson interned for Republican Senator Ted Cruz during the summer of 2016[14] and for Republican US House of Representatives whip Steve Scalise during the summer of 2017.[13][15][16][17] In the summer of 2018, she served as an intern in the White House Office of Legislative Affairs.[13] Later, she became an employee of the office.

In March 2020, when Mark Meadows became Trump's fourth chief of staff, he selected her to serve as one of his aides. She soon became Meadows' principal assistant, continuing through to the end of the Trump presidency, where her title was Special Assistant to the President and Coordinator for Legislative Affairs

Not judging but her career track seemed to take a backseat to making any moral judgements about her bosses. That may have changed.

I would explain it as the arrogance of ego. True believers think they can control the one ring but it always finds the rot within to control them. Real Christians understand that we are fallen and can't find our way without the faith Jesus died for our sins. Not an easy thing to do if you can't even see your own sin and hopeless condition. Of course this religious belief is one path of many leading to the possibility of ego death, some of which have nothing to do with monotheism.

I’ve heard reporting that suggests she may have accepted a plea deal but also displays characteristics of people whose moral character finds loyalty to party or individual over country to be repugnant.

I think she's smart enough to know that Turmp and others would throw her under the bus to save their asses and so decided to get out ahead of it before that happened. She probably was under the delusion most of them are how they are just talking and wouldn't really try to overthrow the government until they did and then she saw that them talking out of both sides of their asses has consequences regardless of them meaning it. Hell she might have simply been harassed personally and that finally broke her bubble about who these men really are. Who knows, it ultimately really doesn't matter much insofar as she can provide credible witness and/or proof.

Seeing a number of her interviews, I think she was definitely under the influence of the cool aid up to the end. Still, she woke the F up, and finally realized that that man she almost worshiped was a danger to our democracy. I give her a lot of credit for that.
