Cast a vote for one of these 4 speakers!

I'm in the market for surround sound speakers, and I'm looking at these 4, so I need some opinions. Also it would be helpful if you explained your vote and good places to get these speakers + how much I'd expect to pay if possible. Thanks guys.

1. Klipsch ProMedia v.2-400
2. Videologic DigiTheatre DTS
3. Midiland S4 8200
4. Cambridge DeskTop Theater 5.1 DTT2500

Videologic. BUT. I think the Digitheatre's are the best. The DTS are a little more powerful but it isn't worth all that extra $$$. The Digitheatre's are just about as powerful as the Klipsh, they can be had for a good deal @ www.digitheatre.com, they have 5.1 surround, AND they have a nice little remote! Get the Digitheatres!!

The Digitheatres are incredible, but they cost major moola..like double the cost of the ProMedia's...
I'd toss up between the 8200s and the Klipsch's...8200's if you like movies on the PC, and the Klipsch's if you like music and games.
The DTT2500 is ok, but nowhere near Klipsch quality

Klipsch for power and kickass sound.
Videologic for best sound with dolby decoding and you have a load of cash.
Creative if you are short on cash and need dolby decoding.
Midiland for great sound and dolby decoding.

I went for the klipsch speakers because with windvd it will downmix the center channel so dolby 5.1 support makes no difference to me. I also think they sound better than the creative. They cost less (I think) than the midilands also. I got mine from dell for $250.

Don't forget Boston Acoustics makes a nice set of speakers too.

If I have to choose from what you state in the list, I'd go for cambridge. But if you want a better one, I'd recommend you to go for Altec Lansing.

For movies out of your list I would go with the Midiland. For games and music I would go with the Klipsch. Videologic makes the Sirroco(sp?) Crossfire which has better sound quality than the Klipsch but its expensive and not as loud (who wants to go deaf though?)

StanTheMan, what are you talking about? I swapped out Altec Lansing ADA70s for the Klipsch. The ADA70s were the best Altec Lansing had to offer when I bought them (which was a little while ago). Sound quality isn't even in the same league as Klipsch. I would recommend Altec Lansing for anyone on a tight budget. A few years ago I used to consider Altec Lansing top of the line. There are three sets of Altec Lansing speakers in my house. Things have changed though.

I own the DTT2500s so youd think I would say them, but they arent as powerful as I would like. if they were as strong as my old ACS48s I would vote for them easily. I havent heard the others so I cant say about them. The main thing I like about the 2500s is the DD5.1.

I just got my klipsch pro medias yesterday. I almost creamed my pants when I saw the size of the sub. Then I hooked them up and the sound just blew me away. I have never heard the videologic speakers, but I don't see how they can possibly be better. The quality is perfect and the sound is unbelievable. I don't have any dvd's yet but I think I'm going to go out and rent one soon just to hear how the speakers sound.
