Well, I went and installed these and noticed that my screen immediately became dimmer. I thought there was some kind of conflict, so I went and formatted (I wanted to anyway) and reinstalled. The screen was fine until, once again, I installed the 7.5 drivers and everything went dim.

So ATi's initial drivers have DX10 Crossfire support for Vista.
How many months did it take nVidia to achieve this?
Is there really any doubt who has the superior driver support here?

Does this driver include the recently announced free games from Valve? Supposedly ATI is going to bundle STEAM with the drivers which will allow access to some free games.... another ATI - Valve exclusive deal.

Does anyone have a color depth/quality problem with the 7.5 driver? I have a 19" Viewsonic display and the max res is 1440x900. The catalyst 7.5 drive will only let me select 16bit as the color depth...but when I used the 7.4 and the default Vista driver 32bit was always the default....Am I the only one with this problem?
