I just got them and am curious to see how it works
In the Adaptive Antialiasing section, you can choose SSAA or MSAA.

SSAA has the usual performance or quality setting
MSAA has 4 settings ranging from 'smooth' to 'sharp'

I'll get back ASAP to report my findings.

hmmm seems a little more intensive than the EATM deal...
Looks ok but its hard to tell the difference other than sharp looks sharper and smooth looks 'smoother'...

Maybe someone with more time can take a look @ it.

Not to be technical, but these are Catalyst 7.10 beta of the October Release, not Cat 8.0. Rage3D poster was incorrect. Driver release version is 8.42. No Vista 32 love, other wise I'd give them a go.

I really, really, really, really wish they would stop messing with AA modes (what the hell is the point when AA just breaks the back of the 2900XT?) and friggin give us some performace increases.

sorry about that, Matt. But I have no probs on my 'proven' x1900 CF setup

The truth is that the x2900 architecture is not all that great (IMO)...

Again it's your total system and the resolution you run PERIOD!
