Not sure if I like the new CCC layout anyway only time will tell, however its not hard to navigate but will take awhile to get use too.

No issues so far but early days as they say,I don't expect any issues to be honest.

I like the new CCC. Main thing I disliked about old CCC was the 3D tree being expanding in a window that wasn't adjustable. Couldn't see everything cleanly. Good riddens!

I like selecting the options of choice and them showcasing in the main window. :thumbsup:

Should I wait another 2 months before going to 9.7? haha

Do note,

AMD today sneaked in the latest version of its ATI Catalyst driver suite that provides support to several AMD/ATI components such as ATI Radeon series GPUs, AMD desktop chipsets, AMD FireStream GPGPU, and ATI Theater multimedia products. As revealed by the release notes document, AMD introduced several performance and feature-set changes, along with timely bug-fixes. Highlights include:

* Crysis performance at very high quality preset increases by up to 8% on Radeon HD 4800 series
* Lost Planet Colonies - performance increases by 7-11% when 8x Anti-Aliasing is used on the HD 4800 series products
* Introduces support for the ATI Video converter under Windows 7 32-bit and Windows 7 64-bit
* A newly designed Desktops & Displays Manager
* Added support for new OpenGL extensions: EXT_provoking_vertex and EXT_vertex_array_bgra

At this point in time, Catalyst 9.7 is only available for Windows 7 and Vista. The Windows XP version will be published by AMD soon.

I downloaded the leaked drivers posted on Guru3D forums and they worked great, I found a nice boost in Crysis and I found out that in the release notes, the layout looks good but it takes some time because of its a bit more difficult to find things.

They haven't updated all of the text on the website, but the download very clearly says(and is) Catalyst 9.7.

Downloaded and installed. I like how it fixed my refresh rate on Windows 7 with rig in sig (could not change it before), but I don't like the new CCC. It takes me two clicks now to get to the same thing, not a big deal really but I didn't see a need to change the old CCC, IMO it was fine.

Do you guys download the suite or driver and CCC separately? The suite seems much smaller compared to the other two individual downloads.

Uh, the new CCC layout is not very intuitive. At least they could have put all those menu options on welcome page, instead of putting links to their own site!

I always download complete package,never had any issues so far.

Installed last night and seems like the Crysis gains are true. Went from ~75fps to ~82fps on average inside the alien cave.

The XP version is now online. It works great, and the boot-up times for ccc is substantially faster than the previous version. Good stuff AMD (ATI)!

Could you tell me how you did this?

My monitor is a 2209WA running at 1680 x 1050 @ 59hz.

I'd like to get it running at 1680 x 1050 @ 75hz (it supports this).

When I click "force refresh rate" to 75hz, the max resolution it lets me go to is 1280 x 1024.
