Catholic church boycotts Hell Pizza

Hell Pizza is good stuff! I had some when I was in New Zealand in October. I kept a menu just because the pizza names are great.

The boxes have perferrated punchouts that can be folded to make coffin-shaped leftover boxes. Quite a bit of creativity went into that business.

The Catholic Church has nothing to do with this right now.

The article says that a Catholic newspaper is calling for the boycott, mainly because the parents didn't have a chance to prevent their kids from accessing the condoms.

The editorial said the promotion was more cynical and offensive than a TV campaign because it robbed parents of the chance to stop their children from being exposed by changing the channel.

"What happens when you're seven years old and you find something in (the letterbox) and you ask your mother or father, 'What's this?"'

condoms will slow teen pregnancy and std rates, but they will not stop either. Only abstinence will completely stop those things. The Catholic Church believes sex should be saved for marriage. If sex were saved for marriage from the start everywhere, there wouldnt be these problems. That is where the Church is coming from.

Who is asking them to answer to a church? The church is choosing not to support a private company and encouraging its members to do the same. What is wrong with that? Personally, I think all boycotts are stupid, but this one is no more stupid than any other just because it involves a church.
