Caught 52 Dolphins this Morning

I am staying in the Florida Keys this week with my wife's whole family. We went fishing this morning on my father in law's boat and had an amazing time. We got into a school of dolphin (mahi mahi) and were pulling them in left and right. Grand total was 52 of them between four of us.

Mahi Mahi aren't bottlenose dolphins, they're just like any other fish really. Completely different.

Just like everyone else said, we are going to eat them. Mahi Mahi taste really good, not fishy at all.

Mahi Mahi is a white fish and like most white fish it is not very fishy tasting which is why a lot of people like it.

But 52 is impressive, those things can weight a ton. I remeber having problems pulling a 25lb Bass outta lake Erie...

I hope he eats them because they are excellent! Last time I went deep sea fishing we came across a school of them and caught between 30-40 of them. Brought back to Illinois and had a huge fish fry!

The air-breathing, squeaking, one-in-every-tuna-can intelligent mammal, and the NON-intelligent, gilled, fish also known as Mahi Mahi.

I went to the local Publix food store and asked the guy behind the counter for a pound of dolphin and he looked at me like I had two heads, honestly anyone that lives on the east coast should know that the fish called dolphin is also Mahi Mahi.

Just the same as a jew fish is also grouper.
