What's the saying..."Don't attribute to malice that which can be explained by stupidity"?? Anyway, I think one has to be aware that they are evil to truly be evil (except psychopaths). A lot of these people only get their news from FOX and the like and accept it as the truth. So yeah, some percentage are just dumb, in so far as they don't reflect at all on their choices.They can be dumb because their voters are dumb and revel in dumbness. It's a symbiotic relationship of evil stupidity.

If we keep calling all these people evil - we create an even greater divide in American politics. Perhaps you want a Civil war of some kind, I don't know. But I sure as hell know that I don't want some schism to break my country, one of the most successful and powerful countries ever, and to thus fall into utter chaos.

The majority of Russians, Chinese, Germans and Italians weren't acting out of evil intent. For the most part they didn't even know what was to come. After a while, they were either silent, out of fear, or just went along with those various 'revolutions', hoping to be they would lead to greater prosperity and national prestige, etc. I think most of the Trumpers are of the latter sort. They are hoping for a better life, whether it be cultural, financial, religious and whatnot. Well, and like the Nazis, the GOP and their proxies are masters of propaganda. So, I principally blame those at the top, the wealthy donors, the political power brokers, the right media and, sadly, all these prosperity megachurches, for being the pied pipers who have whipped some into a frenzy. There are just so many lies out there that have been pounding into people heads (re: the big lie concept), that it is very hard to see how we get out of this divisive mess. Well, yes lies upon lies upon lies. Years of Agitprop from the GOP - pretty much 40 years worth. As this Agitprop just amps up the base, the GOP has just pumped out more and more of it till many have become 'hostile' towards those 'liberals'. It's a horrific magic trick - this is the important stuff, keep you eye on it - so you don't see that we are trampling on the poor and eroding the middle class so we can grab more power and become super rich. Now we have liberals becoming increasingly hostile towards to right. Tell me, how does this hostility and anger solve anything??
