Is it just me, or does it actually look a little shorter then the 5870? Tough to tell from that angle. I'm a little surprised to see the ATI branding on it.
Tough to tell, if we could get a shot showing the pcie power connectors we'd be able to tell.
Cayman XT is supposed to be going with the 8pin/6pin setup.
Is the cooling rib seen on the last photo really on pcb in the first picture?

Looks like it's red from the crossfire connectors. Plus you can see red PCB through the fan vents and gaps around the connectors on the back plane.
Sure looks that way....apparently NVDA think so too....he 5870ish cooler repeat is very, very interesting. Is ATI destined to deliver another near perfect balance of performance/power consumption/temps/noise?
