CBD Oil Experience

Have anyone used CBD oil to reduce anxiety? I have read somewhere that people use it in this cases but have doubts. And which brand to select.

I have a friend that just got his medical use card and just started to do this a few months ago. He has now stopped his oral medications and is completely on CBD oil for anxiety. Not sure what brand or potency he is using i will ask him next time i see him. I do know that the change in him was noticeable, i havent seen him as happy as he has been since he started CBD oil since i met him a decade ago.

I have been using it for about a year just before sleep. It definitely has positive effects, but as for brand I cant really help. Ive been getting home brewed stuff from a friend. After verifying the benefits of taking it im now on the lookout for something readily available for purchase and reliable as far as quality.

Heres hoping reviving this thread can provide some leads.

I was gifted a small bottle of rum and CBD oil combo over the holidays. I tasted it, has a strong taste of cannabis!!! Haven't done anything with it yet. I'm not prone to seek any kind of intervention for anxiety, pain, or anything! I self medicate (i.e. modify my thinking, behavior, just work through anything naturally). Still, I would never put down on getting high, you better believe it. But we all know you can screw yourself up royally messing with substances. It's quite a world we have here.

I used it for 3 months, didn't see any changes to my stress or anxiety. However, I did feel like I slept better/more soundly.

I have read studies that show the real amount one would need to gain benefits like reducing anxiety/depressing are like 5-10x more per dose than what's typically taken. There's also the fact that a lot of full spectrum oils are big $$$.

I've picked up some CBD oil when some people I follow post there is a sale or something like that with a code. I haven't found it to make a big change but I have some anecdotal experience that says it helps.
1. Prior to going to buy a car I dosed myself with CBD. I can say that I found that car buying experience to be the least stressful one I have ever had. Was it a good dealer, or the cbd?
2. At work, I will sometimes find myself being more short with people that I normally would. usually related to many meetings to attend or messed up schedules I have to deal with. i'll dose with CBD and I find I am more relaxed the rest of the day. Could just be me being aware (I practice mindfulness and meditation ) that I'm being short and mentally adjusting myself.

If it is the CBD, it's not like a switch. It's more of a softening.

My sister gifted me a little (1/2 cup?) brown obviously commercial bottle of "CANNABIS-INFUSED SPICED RUM." I don't see the to-be-expected label stuff like brand, capacity. It looks nice enough for sure, the label has cute artistic graphics. Here's what else the label says:

I'm wondering what to expect from this. It's not delicious by any stretch, but I can combine it with whatever to lessen the nasty taste, say, strong coffee. Or add to a liqueur, like Bailey's or whatever.

Is the cannabis in this apt to get me high or is it medicinal? Is it apt to lessen anxiety or pain or maybe push me to one of those fabulous MJ highs, if you know what I mean!?!

Or is there no way of knowing other than to try it and note the results, if any?

Sounds like that is THC laced rum and not CBD. Does it list the amounts of THC and CBD anywhere on the labels? In any case, the alcohol is likely to have a greater effect than any of the additives.

There's nothing on that label other than what I described, which is, as I said, kinda weird. It looks legit, IOW, not something someone produced out of their apartment. But maybe it's not exactly. I mean, there are laws about labeling, right? If it is THC I'd think it would get you high just like smoking MJ. Tastes strongly of MJ. I know, I've made MJ butter and it tastes like that!

Bottle does not say "Drink Me," but yeah. Thing is it tastes awfully nasty, hard to drink enough where I get a reaction... unless I disguise that strong awful taste with something...

you should have drank the whole half cup in one gulp? not gargle it teaspoon at a time. i know alcohol tastes terrible to me, luckily i drank it fast and all at once. (maybe double of black label and im good for the night)

Alcohol is nowhere near as nasty as this stuff tastes. It's not the alcohol I taste when I sip it, it's the cannabis! One gulp, yeah, it could be done. Not sure I want to try that, what if it's like smoking 12 big joints? I don't wanna get

well alcohol and weed mixture is called green dragon i thought and yea tastes spicey or something, test out a sip but gulp after that. sipping is so funny! i dont sip anything

That's what liqueurs are for... sipping!

Yeah, chili, I think that's a decent idea. I have never been happy with any chili I've made, so I can't think it's ruining it! I really like Hormel Chili without Beans... that's it, no other! But I ran out and stopped buying it. Expensive and not the healthiest food. I eat almost nothing canned anymore.

Ha Ha. Yeah once you start preparing your own food you will be very disinclined to buy can goods or even frozen foods.
