folks, if you run Windows, there is NO good reason to flash a 9800PRO BIOS onto a 9800 card. A software overclocking tool does the very same as the PRO bios, just not from boot time.
Now if you run a lot of games in Linux (few do), it may make sense to put a PRO bios on if there's no Linux overclocking tool.
There have been rumors that a PRO bios does more than have higher clocks. No! It does not! For higher voltages, one of the alledged improvements, you need hardware changes for which there are soldering mods out there.
Just my advice: Stick to the stock BIOS, use the Rage3D or similar tool for overclocking. You don't miss anything, and above all else, you don't void your warranty. Try sending in a fried card that has a PRO bios on a NON-PRO card, you won't get squat.
