If you into networking take it. One of the best uses of time for a high school career if you are interested in it.
It does take some dedication though.
I got kinda screwed when I took mine for a year. The teacher was new and we started down the CCNA track, well when she saw about 70% of the class wasn't getting it. She switched the entire class to A+. So needless to say none of us walked away with anything except intro to each course.
