If you want cheap packs, head to outpost.com. They have both 8x-12x 50pack spindles for under $20 apiece.

Yea that Outpost.com is a real find. 40cents each for 12X 80min's day in and out, no rebates, is sweet.

A certain online site has a 50 pack of Sony blanks for close to $50. Add something cheap and use a coupon and it comes out to $25 shipped + taxes

About those blanks at outpost.com, is the brand reliable? As I understand (please correct me if I'm wrong) the brand only matters if you leave your cds in the sun a lot, but I just wondered if these are quality.

Vlad - The low down on the Kingston brand is that it is suppose to suck in a car cd player....It works fine in a comp and cd player....I on the other hand have had zero problems with them. I just ordered another 50 spindle. I've burned about 35 of them and only had one coaster. People have their own opinions, but they are my personal favorite. Plus for the money it's a great deal, especially with free shipping at outpost.
