Shipping weight is .21 pounds, so it is probably a single disc with jewel case.

ONE CD not 100...acording to the CSR. Still, 0.21 lbs for one CD? Maybe 10? Anyway, I have way too many CDs as is.

Tell me about it, Wolf. I have a serious weakness when it comes to blank media. I have over 400 blank discs right now, and yet I STILL went to the computer section at Best Buy yesterday (was in for blank video tapes) for the explicit purpose of checking out the blank media. I need counseling.

I have over 300 free CDRs I got in the last month or so.

Now, should I actually spend money on a burner? Hmmm...

OMG Souka, my roommate did that to our bathroom wall too! I thought he was the only one, though he used AOL CDs, old drivers CDs, etc., not CDRs.

you think 100 CDRs for $0.67 is hot? How about the Office Max deal last week where you get 200 for "free" after rebate? These CDRs are probably of questionable quality and they are only 650 MB.

SloppyB or anyone else that feels the need to call CSR: DON'T CALL!

If you didn't know already, that is the number one, #1, and fastest way to kill ANY hot deal.

Think like this: You are calling them to alert them to change the price back to regular price? How dumb is that?

In fact something similiar like this happened recently that cost someone's job!! Don't be stupid. If you are stupid, you are only to visit yahoo.com from now on.

Repeat after me:
Don't Call CSR.
Don't Call CSR.
Don't Call CSR.
Don't Call CSR.

I'd think 1.34 for 200 cds is way hotter than $45 now to maybe get back in 2 months.
Not that this deal was real...

blueice -

well, even if we don't call the csr, i think onvia (like staples), has something on their website stating that they don't have to sell or complete any transaction if there is a typo or mistake on their part. the attache case from staples for 0.01 got cancelled a week ago, and i think onvia might do the same if they think we're trying to take advantage of them. ohwells. =)

Don't call CSR...bull. Go ahead and order 100 of them and then when they send you only 100 not 100x100 suck it up. If it was reasonable I would have never called but give me a break.

People who called in all this kind of deal must be dumb.

It doesn't make any sense to alert them about their errors.

Would you expect them to tell you that

"Yeahhh dude, that's 100 packs for a buck, better hurry up order that"

Sigh :frown:

edit: use you common sense.......$0.67 for 100 packs? comon'you should have learned something from this board and make a good judgement whether it's a hot deal they offer or just an error.

What goes around comes around. As the CD-R's were 6X max there was a chance that it was a legit deal. However, just because someone makes an error you don't need to exploit them. I'm not trying to screw anyone over and I would expect the same from others. I am just looking for genuine "hot deals" not to exploit.

Maybe when you grow up you'll understand...just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.
