CD-RW problem

Greetings,

I am putting together a new machine and have as 2 components a Pioneer DVD and a Yamaha CD-RW. My problem is that I cannot get my machine to recognize the CD-RW. Thoughts?

Maybe the jumpers? Which is slave and which is master? And does it not recognize in Windoze or BIOS?

If you are trying to read packet written CDRW's you need to install the UDF reader patch or put direct CD on the system
