Hey all, hope someone can help me in this frustrating dilemma.
Anyways, i woke up today to a locked up/frozen computer which wasnt that big of a deal in my eyes, so i rebooted, and then it got to the verivying dmi pool or whatever screen and then the screen went black. so i tried rebooting again and it happened again. then i decided to try and boot from my windows 2k cd to see if i could repair windows. when i got to the part where it says press any key to boot from cd, i pressed a key and then it said: cdboot: couldnn't find NTLDR. So since i couldnt boot from the cd after messing with the master/slave configurations of my disk/harddrives i thought it might be hardware related. so i tried swapping out my vid card, ram, motherboard, and everything else i could. that left the cpu, and the hdd which i didnt have replacements to swap out with. so what i did was plugged my hdd into my brothers computer and formatted it. put it back in my computer with a fresh installation of windows 2000 and i still got the error. i think concluded that my harddrive was bad, so i went out and bought a new one. installed it, and i still have the problem. i really dont know what to do. im stumped. please help.
