As the title says, get a 50pk of cdr's for 8.99 get them while they last, I don't have the sku on them but they are piled up near the registers (at least at the one in Santa Clara)
I got some of these last week. I want to say "Kingston," but I'm not totally sure. 74-min & 80-min were the same price, all are listed as 8x. I tried burning one (audio only) at 12x with no luck.
I can post CD-R Identifier when I get home. (feel free to remind me)
I bought these when they sold in packs of 100 for $16. They are 8X but they burn fine at 12X for me including audio. CDrom seems to like them better when burned at 8X though. That is also the regular price for these. I use them for everything but mainly for SVCD.
These are the Kingston Hypermedia CD's. I've been using nothing but these (because they are cheap) for the past 2 years without a problem. They work in everything I've tested them with so far. These are a great deal IMO. I'm heading down to the Microcenter near my mouse and pick up a few spindles before they sell out.
So they are CMC Magnetics. Some people have had problems with them, but personally I think it was their recorder since I've never had a bad burn with these.
