CDRW Maintenance Question

1) how long is a CDRW drive's life expectancy in terms of number
of CD s burned?

2) how often do i need to clean/add oil to the drive?

CDRW's should last til obsolescence, but you can check the manufacturers documents for each CDRW's life expectancy. They "should" never need cleaning or oiling. I suggest just trying to keep it clean as opposed to cleaning it.
