I use Nero 5 to burn my CDs in both Windows ME and in Windows XP. It works just fine in Windows ME, it worked just fine in Windows XP RC2, but in the final XP build any CDs I burn are unreadable, whether I use Nero or Windows' native CD-writing function. My roommate has the same problem with his machine.
This is not an issue of other Windows versions not being able to read discs burned in XP. This is an issue of XP not reading discs burned under XP. I will burn a disc in Nero, take it out when it's finished, then put it right back in & it will show as having the correct amount of data on the disc but Windows can't find any files on the disc.
Has anyone else encountered and/or discovered a fix for this?
