Celeron and Centrino

~~~Hello, this is probably an easy question to answer, but I couldnt find it online searching. I need to buy a notebook, and I am thinking about one from Dell. Thier cheapest one is what I can afford. This is what it says:
Intel® Celeron® M Processor 350 (1.30 GHz/1MB Cache/400MHz FSB)

One very important software that I am going to purchase says it needs at least a Pentium 2 to run (recommended).

Thanks to blackllotus for letting me know that a centrino notebook is more powerful than a pentium 2. (you can tell i am new to computers lol).
Do the names celeron and centrino mean the same thing?

celeron and centrino are not the same and they technically don't have much to do with each other.

celeron is the lower end of all intel CPUs. Most of the time, this just means that the CPU has half of the cache (essentially RAM on the CPU itself) of it's non-celeron counterpart.

centrino is Intel's complete notebook platform. Essentially a laptop manufacturer can get centrino certification if they use an intel CPU, chipset, and wireless lan combo. It's supposed to increase battery life.

Centrino is a special label given to notebooks that use the Pentium M CPU, Intel chipset, and Intel wifi card.
The Celeron M CPU is basically a crippled Pentium M, but is not considered apart of the Centrino platform.
