Cell Phone Service in Los Angeles area

Hi everyone,
I noticed that everyone has been posting cell phone deals. I saw one for Verizon with 200 anytime mins, 500 night and weekend, and 1000 mobile to mobile. Now I dont know if this is the best deal out there...but it sounds pretty good to me. No activation, and a free phone as well (nokia 5185 or qualcomm 860) The store is Cellular Mall, and their number is 310-478-4444. Hope this helps.

This is a hot deal, as I signed up as well. Its $19.99 for the first three months, then 24.99 thereafter. 200 minutes anytime, 500 nights and weekdns, and 1000 mobile to mobile. Only at Cellular Mall, and only if you go to UCLA or know someone who does. Have to show the student id. Free phone. No activation. Verizon is the best dam service you can get in west los angeles hands down. I get reception in big, deep buildings!

two year contract unfortunately. best phone for the buck is the qualcomm 860, which is free through this deal, plus 16 bucks tax. This is a dam god deal though. and service rocks

hey xchangx, me nor anybody else who has unlimited nights and weekends are charged for long distance. i call san diego from san francisco all the time, and vice versa, and i am never charged. i have my 29 page Pacbell phone bill if anybody wants to see.

Hmm.. .16/ hour? heh.. I guess you meant per minute.. and I thought that was 15 cents. Anyway, are you referring to the $39.99 deal posted above or were you referring to another priced deal by Cingular? They mention plans above $29.99 come with free long distance (no 15 cents/min charge).

Anyone get the new Cingular plans/rates yet? Hope they didn't get any stingier with minutes or options..

i am a cingular wireless sales rep...or was rather...stupid place went out of business today...ohh well...anywayz...if you have the cingular home 300 or higher...it comez with free long distance...the otherz don't...so depending on which rate plan you have...your local calling area is different...another thing about the unlimited nights and weekendz...the nights are from 8pm - 6:59am and the weekendz are from saturday 12:01am - sunday 11:59pm

I have the 8260 and the service is awesome! At&t is really good in Santa Barbara area. My friend has Pacbell/Cingular service here and it isn't as good. I am on the $30/month plan with 250 anytime, 500 night/weekend minutes. I got the phone for free with rebates.
