$40 for 1000 minutes + $5 for 400 texts (still a scam, albeit not as bad).

I switched to T-Mobile from Sprint almost 3 years ago and have never looked back.

Well, have never looked back until the SERO plan. But I'm on a 2-year contract now; oh well!

I think it's very reasonable. we use about 5k min a month and only use about 500 of the 800 on the plan. Unlimited incoming is awesome. I wish some other carriers would do it.

Yup, that's exactly what I do. Paying $100 or so per year is pretty reasonable, there's no way I'm going to be paying $40 per month for a cell. Somehow all the cell phone companies have convinced people that having a cell is a necessity when it is not, it's a convenience, and a very expensive one at that......

AT&T family plan 2 lines $72/mo 700 minutes. I currently have 5000 rollover minutes =(
