I have been searching everywhere for this and I cant find it not even on thier website. I wonder what happened to the disk. anyone have any ideas on where I could find it?
What do you need drivers for? CD-RWs, like CD-ROMs and DVD-ROM usually do not require drivers w/ Windows OS's. The operaing system recognize the drive and it should work automatically.
You don't need a driver for the Cendyne to function properly. As long as your burning software detects the drive you are good to go.
[*]Make sure it's jumered correctly and the cable orientation is correct
[*]Make sure bios sees the drive
[*]Try to access the drive in DOS
[*]Look under "my computer" (windows OS) and see if it will read a regular cd
ashsia's right, you don't need drivers for your OS to recognize a CD, DVD, or CDRW drive. Sometimes the CD recording software will not support a newer or more obscure burner, and in that case you need an update to the recording software.
Well thats the problem I dont know if it was a windows patch or what but windows xp only reconizes it as a vcom virtual cdrom and not the burner! this changed on me last week. Any Ideas on how to fix it? The burning software that came with it (nero) recognizes it as the cdrom.
