In the OM flyer (regional?) they have the Cendyne 48x12x24 Lightning IV for $49 = ($99 - 20IR - 30MIR)
Pricematch to CC which has it for $89 and use the OD $20 off 50 coupon.

Turns out to be:
$89 after PM to CC - $20IR - $30MIR - $20 OD Coupon = $19


Only thing is, will OM apply the 20IR after PMing to CC?
Also, can these drives be updated to Lite-ons??

I'm pretty sure they will factor in the IR, but nice find! Cendyne's are usually Lite-On drives.

You don't get instant rebate on top of PM. Instant rebate is "we normally sell it for $100, but today we are having a sale on this for $80. To let customer know how much we discounted it, we'll call it "instant rebate".

So, you can only get it for $10 more, at $29.99. But, you don't need to PM, which is always a plus.

yeah, no way on the PM... however, $30 for this supa fast burner is cool. Altho, I have heard many problems come with such fast fast burning speeds. Anyone have any first had experience?

I've been burning at 48X without problems so far compared to my 24X which nothing else could read. I've used various generics including PNY. It depends on the media I guess.
