Just hit the website for the deal...grand total of $80.73 after the $25.00 coupon, and with $60 in rebates, knocks it down to $20.73.

Plus, I probably come out $10-15 ahead when I fleabay the Liteon that it's replacing (that I practically just bought!)

I always use packing invoices for rebates and have never ever had a problem with that, out of dozens of rebates.

Printed out my happy in-store staples coupon, but the blighters wouldn't honor it. Still got the drive for $30 AR, and that's not a bad price. This thing burns groing-grabbingly fast! I love it! Only wierd thing is the tray is sluggish to open. Thanks for the great deal though!

Reboot-back to OM-no receipt, no order shows up on website-got confirmation email-all were 1 day delivery, but won't deliver until 10/11 !!!! All rebates end 10/5 !!! Now what ? Order doesn't show on website, even with search by order number, so I can"t cancel ??? Think I am screwed !! Any Suggestions ? Thanks-jimb

You're not screwed, as far as the dates go. As long as your rebates are postmarked within 15 days of you placing the order, you're fine, even if it's outside of the rebate period. The rebate period is just when you have to place your order by.

As of 11AM EST, the drive is no longer available online and we have to get it at stores. CDRs are also backordered so I didn't order because the rebate must be postmarked within 7 days of purchase. How is that possible if the CDs are backordered?

Sweet deal. Got in on this Sunday morning and ordered over the phone. The women I spoke with was great. I needed no proof of the coupon, I just mentioned it and she gave it to me. She laughed because she had done this order a ton of time. I got the following:

$20 of $100 order (didn't use $25 of $100 because its for new customers only, I'm not a new customer)
