To all off you who didn't get lite-on's and want to exchange, this was posted on Cendyne's site:
"I cannot help but feel cheated by Cendyne. I bought this drive fully thinking that it was a Lite-On. I didn't even think about checking the label on the drive itself. And since I have already mutilated the box sending in for the rebate, I'm stuck and can't return the drive. Oh, well, I'm going to think positive and test this drive by copying a few games and hope that it works.
What is your opinion on this guys?"
"Since we label the model number on the box, and will exchange the drive for what you thought you were getting, there's no problem.

Looks like Cendyne will replace them with a Lite-on if you ask nicely.
Regarding the 48x16x48 drives
This was posted 9/30/2 on Cendyne's support site:
"I purchased a 48x12x48 CDRW today from OfficeMax and inside was a 48X16X48 CDRW. The firmware version is 120F and the name of the drive is 481648AX. Who makes this drive and how do I get the firmware. Is this a Cyberdrive CDRW? Thanks for the help."
Dave Thompson
"It's an accesstek drive, and that is the most CURRENT firmware for that drive."
