To each their own, im sure surfing in Costa Rica bores you like Ohio bores me.Originally posted by: GeekDrewAmen. You city folk will NEVER realize the true beauty of the country. I used to love waking up early, having breakfast before I went out, and then going out to work on the farm as the sun rose. I haven't done that in years... but I'll never forget it as long as I live.Originally posted by: Zenmervolt You city folk can go right ahead and think that Ohio's boring. We don't want you here anyway, you just cause a whole bunch of ugly urban sprawl and eat up our nice farmland with stupid suburban tract homes and ugly cities. ZV
Costa Rica sucks... ask Cartman.Originally posted by: GeekDrew
Absolutely. I have no inclination whatsoever to ever want to see the beach, let alone go surfing.Originally posted by: Phocas

I'll be heading down to The Polaris Mall this evening. I'll take my camera and see if I can get a picture of the sniper for ya. Gee, I'd LOVE to be bored, with NOTHING to do, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. In the mean time, you guys have fun in the city, trying to find a place to park, paying out the ass when you finally find it, and hoping your car isn't ransacked or stolen when you finally get back to it.

Grove City... PA, right? My brother goes to college there. Dang. I didn't know he was the strike zone. He doesn't have a car, so hey.Originally posted by: ChefJoe I live in Grove City (about a mile away from the Timberlake Subdivision 71 overpass incident), work at OSU. At first I was concerned, then I figured my chances of getting killed by the sniper are less than getting in any sort of other serious accident. That doesn't excuse the sniper as irrelevant, just not worth changing my habits over. I still hope the paranoia not only gets the sniper caught, but any and all copycats (wtf is with this black sports car handgun shooter going around?). I think there's going to be far more "punishment" handed to this a55hat than a court ruling.

We went through Columbus at Christmastime. Normally we would take 270 to get from 70 to 71, but because the sniper was hitting 270 at the time we went through the downtown instead. Sooner or later this idiot is going to shoot at someone with a gun and it's going to be the snipers last day on earth.

I live halfway between Dayton and Cincy. I agree that you have to look pretty hard to find something to do, a lot of times. Even being in a position where I could easily go to either city doesn't change that.
I wouldn't say Ohio sucks, but it is pretty boring. As I've said before, it's waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy to conservative to see any change happen at a good speed.
We should all get together some time... and do nothing... because there is nothing to do.
