Amen. You city folk will NEVER realize the true beauty of the country. I used to love waking up early, having breakfast before I went out, and then going out to work on the farm as the sun rose. I haven't done that in years... but I'll never forget it as long as I live.

To each their own, im sure surfing in Costa Rica bores you like Ohio bores me.

Absolutely. I have no inclination whatsoever to ever want to see the beach, let alone go surfing.

I don't know when the article behind that link was written, but it no longer the great upstanding best mall in ohio that people once said it was. I don't know what would would be the best... I would say Easton, most likely.

Heck, the Polaris mall police followed around a gang the other day that was in the mall, and then threw them out on the street. You know who the gang was? It was a bunch of older ladies, wearing purple dresses with red hats. They had done nothing wrong, but mall security decided that the group of ladies was being disruptive to the public. In fact, the public has been kind of outraged that the group was removed from the property. There was a rather large article printed in the Columbus Dispatch about that.

We went through Columbus at Christmastime. Normally we would take 270 to get from 70 to 71, but because the sniper was hitting 270 at the time we went through the downtown instead. Sooner or later this idiot is going to shoot at someone with a gun and it's going to be the snipers last day on earth.

and as for being out in the country it has it's ups and downs, i occassionally would go to somerset ohio to my grandmas for the summer and help out at the farm. it's enjoyable, but from what i've experienced ohio is a tad slow for my lifestyle, i'm moving west after college

i lived in the area with te DC sniper. it was actually right outside of DC, never in DC metro. the people were afraid to pump gas by themselves!!
