CFM needed to cool Athlon 2400+

I'm researching fans to cool my Athlon 2400+. I've decided on an SLK-800 heatsink, and I would like to know how many CFM I would need to cool the CPU. I want to pick a fan that's as quiet as possible but pushes enough CFM to cool the processor sufficiently. This is going to be installed in an Antec Sonata case, which has only one, 120mm case fan pre-installed.

Are going to overclock the cpu? SLK-800 is an excellent HS and pretty much any fan will work just fine. If you're not going to be overclocking (raising vcore) buy a Panaflo L1A, it's and excellent fan.

I might overclock. If I ever do, I'll get a more powerful fan. It's certainly not a major investment. Until then, I'll be happy and my ears will be happy with a Panaflo L1A. Thanks for the help!

I would put the lower cfm limit at 15~20 for an XP2400. Any lower and you'd be approaching 60+c under full load.
