OK,
I recently upgraded my entire system with the exception of the HD and CDR. Here are my current specs before we get into my problem.
AMD64 3200+
Giel 1Gb Dual Channel
Chaintech VNF4 Ultra
ATI PCIE 16x 600
Maxtor 100Gb HD
Generic 52x CDR
I have set the software and drivers up as need be. I have to say that with the exception of my problem, evverything has been working great. I am also still running on factory drivers. (The ones that came with the product) I have read several posts already at other sites that have suggested to update the drivers, but that never remedies this issue. I have connectivity, and no problems with the internet at all. However, when I try to visit my shares on my network, I can't do it. I can browse to them by IP via the run command, but I cannot detect them as normal shares in "my network places". If I pull them up in an explorer window via IP I can "connect" to my network printer and print a job, but as soon as I reboot it will no longer recognize the printer, or any other device on the network. The other PC on the network has no trouble at all seeing my PC.
I have tried the following to remedy this problem.
Rebuilt the network on both PC's.
Tried mapping a drive to the IP of my shares.
Shut down the entire network and started with my PC up and running alone first.
If anyone has any ideas about how to handle this, please let me know.

Our network administrator jsut gave me some ports to try and forward on my Nvidia Firewall. I will try that when I get home.
