I have started a new job and they do not have any change management process in place (for server, network, desktop changes). I do not need anything too fancy. Key points are you put in your description, possible impacts, choose what groups are impacted, and the other groups have to mark that they approve the change. If it could e-mail notifications too that would be a plus.
Can anyone recommend one that is either free, open source, or not too expensive?
