Changing WinXP drive designation

When I loaded WinXP Home on a computer I recently built, it designated the "C:" drive as H! Since there are many software programs that will not load unless they can find the "C" drive, I would like to know how to change XP's drive lettering so I can redesignate my primary drive as "C". Any assistance would be appreciated!:disgust:

Try this....

Start --> Run --> compmgmt.msc

Go under Disk Management, right click on the H: drive, and select Change Drive Letters and Path. Then change the drive letter from H: to C:

I do believe since it is a system drive Disk Management wont let you change it.
