There goes Black Jesus. Replacing him would be like replacing Mr. Roper with Mr. Furley on Three's Company. It was never the same after that.
Some of the funniest comedy skits had him involved. He left his mark.
I wonder how much more famous he would have been if the Chapelle show would have continued on.
He looked really skinny on the show, I'm guessing he had Leukemia back then. I remember seeing the first episode of that show and thinking "woah is Charlie Murphy sick?" He was pretty jacked when he was on the Chappelle show.I was bummed that they skipped over a 3rd season.
They never really announced why, but I assume it was due to his health.
Now I'd guess it's definitely not happening. Super bummer. Under rated show
