From http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/41765705/ns/today-entertainment/:

Charlie Sheen called into a nationally syndicated radio show on Thursday and unleashed a shocking rant in which he attacked Alcoholics Anonymous and his hit CBS show, “Two and a Half Men.”

“I was told if I went on the attack, they would cancel the show,” Sheen claimed to host Alex Jones in an interview for his radio show, “The Alex Jones Show,” referring to his CBS bosses.

“Are they happy with the $5 billion they made off me?” Sheen asked. “[‘Two and a Half Men’] is a runaway frickin’ juggernaut.”

Sheen made it abundantly clear he doesn’t believe the show can survive without him, telling Jones, “Watch your ratings, dudes. Watch your stupid ratings.

“Do what you’re gonna do — I’ll go make movies with superstars,” he threatened.

His hit sitcom wasn’t Sheen’s only target on Thursday. He also ripped into Alcoholics Anonymous, calling the organization a “cult” and “a bunch of losers,” who he claims are “brainwashing his family.”

Despite his seemingly outrageous behavior, Sheen said he plans on being back to work at his CBS show when production resumes on Tuesday.

“I’ll be early,” he told Jones. “I don’t sleep — I wait.”

A rep for Sheen had no comment about the interview when contacted by Access Hollywood on Thursday.

I wish Charlie the best of luck in his recovery. Based on how angry he appears to be, I don't like his chances. It'll be interesting to see what happens with CBS. As big a cash cow as Two and a Half Men is, I wouldn't be surprised to see the producers themselves pumping ol Charlie full of benzo's or whatever he may need that particular day to funciton, just in order to film.

"Home Rahab" indeed...

Thanks for the assist, Doc, I'm sure he values your opinion greatly.

“I’ll be early,” he told Jones. “I don’t sleep — I wait — and snort another line of cocaine.”
Fixed.

I heard he was amazing as the voice of Dex Dogtective. I'm looking forward to Hot Shots Part Trois.

Charlie is deep in it. No major film will hire him because he is uninsurable.
If CBS drops him, he'll be lucky to get a small budget film with a relatively low salary. And if it bombs, he'll be a B list star with a serious drug habit. No one wanted Robert Downey Jr. until he cleaned up.

btw in case you haven't been following Sheen announced he wanted Corbin Bernsen to be included in the new Major League movie. Which is strange since no one really is planning on doing one. Plus, Sheen has managed only a bit part in a low budget comedy due to be released this year. And his one film project is "in developement" and he is only rumoured to be in it. And it stars Winona Ryder, or rather rumoured to star.

No one is breaking down Sheens door to do a movie.

I give him less than three years before he's bankrupt or in jail.

Deep in it? Tell me something, why does he need to do movies? Does it look like he needs the money? He just bought a 1927 World Series ring for $250k, you tell me.

I'm sure it matches the new maybach he's rolling around in to replace the S55 some dbag drove off a cliff.

that is not true.

It's technically true...no major film studio will do a movie him. But there are ways around that (for the studio).

Very reminiscent of Robert Downey Jr. in the 90s.

And Michael Jackson still sells millions of albums each year and was still millions in debt when he died. Just because you have money doesn't mean you'll be able to keep it that way indefinitely. Especially with his type of behavior.

If he didn't need money why would he even talk about working?

You act like it'd be impossible for him to run out of cash. Look at Nick Cage or Antoine Walker or any other moron who's pissed away millions. You don't even need to be an addict to do it...

The direct quote was he is un-insurable, which is false, since he is insured on 2.5 Men.

agreed re: RDJ

Well, Nicholas Cage probably just bought another island, too.

I think the insurance on movie is much higher than tv...plus the insurance for 2.5men was done prior to the shenanigans. TV studio can stop a shoot at any time, and be out the cost of only 1 episode.
