Ran across this last night and for $79.99 this is a hot deal...
http://palmettostatearmory.com/inde...lower-and-ptac-blackhawk-lower-parts-kit.html
Just add a mil-spec buffer tube kit $27.99
http://palmettostatearmory.com/inde...n-mil-spec-diameter-buffer-tube-assembly.html

There you have an alum complete lower for a mere $110 + shipping ($12-14 varies)... Bought 2 myself last night...

Also for anyone wanting to start a build on a cheap AR15 this is the way to go... Most will add whatever sliding stock the prefer (Magpul or brand X...?) BTW complete uppers are for the most part only $399 now and might be found for even less...? Just a bit over $500 for an AR15 is not bad...

Only thing close was a Frontier Polymer lower (complete but plastic) for $115 + shipping...

See post #9 for link to $525.00 AR15...

PSA has some really nice inexpensive black friday deals. I have purchased from them multiple times over the last year.
If you already have a stripped lower and just want a basic plinking rifle they have this setup which is everything else you need, bolt carrier group, buffer tube, lower parts kit and so on for $499.

Excellent way to go as well...

I do stand corrected about the Frontier polymer complete lowers though... (damn $99.95 smackers)

I do own one and it is not bad just bothers me that it is plastic but many quality pistols are made with polymer lowers...

I would imagine so. They won't ship a lower receiver to anyone but an FFL holder, so will sit on that order until you provide the info. I just wouldn't take too long to find one.

If you need it, budsgunshop.com has an FFL locator on their website.

Oh damn now found a complete AR15 (poly lower though) for $525 which is a pretty damn good deal...

Just make sure you realize that you're getting a "MIL-SPEC Polymer Receiver" on that rifle. Some people have no problems with that, some people shy away from them, some people treat them like vampires treat garlic, and won't go near them. I don't have any experience with them, so cannot say, but the biggest complaint I've heard is that they may have heat issues if you're using it for more than relaxed plinking type shooting.

The $28 mil-spec buffer tube kit is a nice deal. I picked up this MOE stock & buffer tube kit from them a while back, and considered it a damn good deal. $50 stock, plus what's normally a $50 buffer tube kit, for $80. :awe:

Cheap way to get into an AR15 but note this is a total import version...

Nice! Another option for about $125 more is to go with the $100 poly complete lower, and add Midway's Adams Arms *PISTON* upper: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/27...-finish-with-magpul-moe-handguard-flash-hider

Which gets you a full piston rifle for about $650 - or use the $170 blem lower to get an aluminum lower'ed full piston rifle for ~$720...

I saw this one as an option for an aluminum receiver full rifle @ $650:
https://store.ar15.com/product.html?cat=6&pr=688

Also note that CDNN continues to have their $240 Chiappa .22LR upper at $240:
http://www.cdnninvestments.com/m4coupco16w1.html
It's a polymer *upper* with a pretty rough-looking finish to the internal parts and fit/finish appropriate to the price range, *BUT* you'd be hard-pressed to get a .22LR conversion for much less than that - and this way you have a dedicated .22LR barrel.

CDNN also has a cheapie carry handle/rear sight which has been $20 when purchased with the Chiappa upper:

I've got to say I'm impressed by the number of really great AR-15 deals this weekend!!!

Shoot straight!

Interesting. I think I will wait for the Winham on sale around $660 and no sale tax (2nd Amendment sale).

I'm not sure what any of that means - $10 more than the ARFCOM rifle posted above? Most mail-order companies do not collect sales tax, so I'm confused by your posting...

My previous post was about the Academy in Louisiana that my friend told me about. Once a year, Louisiana has a special that they will not charge any type of sale tax on fire arms and related items. A bunch of folks from around such as Texas, Arkansas, and Mississippi would make the trip and purchase a lot of fire arms.

Most of the other deals in the thread are dead or OOS, but the LW-15 lower bumped up to $109.95 still with free shipping.

For a super-cheap DI gun, grab this ATI flat-top upper for $349:
https://www.primaryarms.com/ATI-16-Complete-Upper-Half-p/atihd1001.htm

I'm not an AR expert, but it looks like that gas block while railed may NOT be receiver height? If so, your options in BUS (Back-Up Sights) may be more limited or you'll need a riser or something. But to get a complete DI gun (albeit with poly receiver) for $460 + FFL that seems hella cheap....

They've been having a lot of good sales lately. Nearly every weekend you can pick up a lower parts kit with a bunch of mags for cheap. PSA is keeping things competitive in the AR world and I love it. My buddy buys a bunch of stuff from them and is always happy, so keep on eye on their sales.
