If you're looking for an affordable ATX Case w/PS, check out these deals.

Especially on the lower right. I've purchased from this place before and they are quick to ship and the cases are good quality! I got two of the ones with the 400w ps!

Whats aramax, what are you talking about?

$23 for a case with ps shipped is insanely low.

I owned one of the USB-10GA-CS w/ 400w in the lower right and an identical
mid-tower and both had PSFAN failure in 6 months.
no big deal id you have some dead ps's from AT days etc with fans you can salvage
(some soldering may be required)

also the mini's have the PS located directly OVER the CPU which really kills the airflow of the cpu cooler.
definalty try for the MID size with 4x 5" bays

i no longer trust any generic PSUs after having my own blowup and several of my friends too. i would get the case and sell the psu and buy a more reputable brand. currently running an allied 400W.

For my .02, I agree with going with solid PS brands. I ONCE lost a MB, HD, and processor over a cheap PS that went south prematurely. I know all PS die sometime, but if I'm building a new system from scratch, I spend a few extra $ on a better PS to save heartache later.

I found this pretty funny.... the one in the bottom right corner says...

"USB-10GA-CS w/400W Power Supply ($19+$4.99) Free Shipping"

Really? Free shipping huh? What about the $4.99?

If a PS is P4 ready/approved, is it safe to assume that it would also support AMD (~2500+)? Or would that just be naive?

Thanks,
Josh

I find it interesting how many less than 10 posts junior posters are hitting this thread.......

That said amamax is a much better deal, have ordered multiple cases from them and am very happy

I don't see why amamax is a much better deal, unless you have to have a window for your computer. HCTnet was about 5 dollars cheaper. How is that a worse deal? Nonetheless, I'd probably go for the amamax deal to build a gaming computer.

That's being naive. AMD chips definitely take better, more stable PSU's than P4's do. The "P4 ready" designation means that it has the 4-pin extra power connector.

BEWARE of amamax.com... get this i ordered a case and then they emailed me back saying they didn't have it in stock and they said i could get a different one... so i did and they confirmed with me which model and make... i sent them an email with there own link to there product case... i got a case from them a couple of weeks ago and they shipped me the wrong color and wrong model... there solution was for me to mail the case back to them after 2 weeks... for a 30 case they should have just given me a partial refund. Last time i deal with them... they like to waste peoples time.

[sighs] Thanks for the feedback. I guess I'll shell out the extra couple of bucks.
