heh.. its funny to read you guys clowning the subaru owners on the *looks* of his car.. personally.. im done with the whole looks fast thing.. i use to own a 2000 absolutely red toyota celica gts 6 speed.. i guess u can say im one of the original owners.. before the whole *looks fast* marketting from toyota.. just to sell the car for its looks.. and when that same action package cost much more than it does and wen it was known as the TRD kit..
and for those honda owners who are uninformed.. wen the gts came out back in 1999.. it was the 2nd fastest in its class.. next to the type r.. the "o beloved praised car by all the honda owners.." but something to think about is.. the type r.. is a limited edition race ready car.. with more horsepower.. which also cost more.. including the huge mark up.. just for that type r badge.. but for the type r.. to only be .4 faster than the gts.. please.. by the numbers.. mag racing..
type r = 14.5 1/4 mie
celica gts 6 speed = 14.9 1/4 mile
in reality.. the gts has been able to hit 14.8 stock.. as my friend has.. and have the timeslips.. but getting to the point.. the gts is faster than a prelude, integra ls, gs, gsr, 99-00, 02 civic si.. and yes the prelude h22 does have more hp.. but also considering how much that tank weighs.. the hp/weight ratio doesnt work out.. because if it did.. it should be faster than the type r.. but however the lude will pull on the gts and the type r on the top end.. and with the new rsx type s.. yea it has 200 hp.. but weight also has to be in consideration.. so no the rsx type s is not the gts killer because that is a driver race.. unless the celica is a 2002 or the automatic.. but thats a whole different story.. hope ive informed u honda guys..
now with the wrx.. that will be my next car.. unless the evo is around the same price which i highly doubt.. yes the wrx is a nice car.. i can get it for 22k.. same price as a new rsx type s.. celica gts.. less than an lexus is300.. bmw 3 series.. but outperforms all of those cars.. awd turbo.. the best of both worlds.. ive already experience the good looks fast thing.. but for real performance and something that will have potential.. the wrx is the way to go.. as far as a new car.. and also to add.. the wrx does GRIP good on the road due to the awd.. but as well as HANDLING.. mite be another story.. dont over-estimate awd and understeer off the cliff or into a wall because u think awd is god..
well thats my .02..
note: i based everything on the cars being stock.. because with modifications any car can be good..
and to stay on topic.. body kits are koo.. if u have the performance to back up the fast looks..
