Cheap DVDs @ Circuit City

Circuit city has nice buys on DVDs - Independence day, Patriot and Ransome for $12. They also have Commando, Marked for Death, and Volcano for $9

Have you seen Volcano? Wondering if it's worth my 9 beans.

Volcano came out about the same time as Dante's Peak and is about on a par with it. Neither one was all that fabulous in my estimation. Personally I picked up Independence Day, Commando and Marked for Death. I also picked up Irma La Duce while I was there. It wasn't on sale but it was cheap and loved Jack Lemon in this one. When it originally came out I was in High School and it was considered to be a really provacative movie at the time. That really tells you how things have changed.

Is Volvano that bad? I think it is not excellent, but worth at least $9 for a DVD. And I probably will pick up ID4 too. What's special about the special edition?

I would never purchase *anything* from Circuit Ciy... remember DIVX? 'nuf said.

for 9 dollars...i will go to block buster or Holywood video to get those previewed DVD. Their quality are excellet.

Yea, Commando did have some pretty good moments, though it was pretty bogus the way he ripped out the car seat. :Q
