Restaurant.com sells food gift certifiactes at resturaunts and some clubs in large cities..
You can buy a $25 certificate for $10.. And they also sell some 50% off coupons to certain places too..

Some have limitations on them, some do not.. It is up to the resturaunt.. But I've used them and not had a problem....

Also, they sell on ebay.. I got a $25 certifiacte for $1.. A total of $75 for less than $15 to 3 different local places..
The only ones I've bought have been on ebay.. You pay a $1 "handling fee".. but I would say you pay that through their website as well..

i've actually used this before. i bid on one of their auctions on eBay. I got a $25 gift certificate for an Irish pub around here, for about $8.

Great food for real cheap. Can't complain!

(I just wish they'd have more participating restaurants here in Michigan)

btw, as SmoothSL pointed out, some have restrictions so pay attention! (eat at certain times, certain number of people per party, etc)

I used one today.. Worked like a charm.. Fed myself and my wife at a buffet for less than $5..

i work at a chain restraunt, and my manager showed me a photocopy of a coupon from this site, and warned me that this coupon is not valid and was never issued by the company. i came home, and saw this thread, thought id give you all the heads up
