No, it doesn't.

Legacy just means they're not making the cards anymore.

Exactly this. They aren't making 900 series cards. They still support 500 series and above, and will for some time, as far as drivers go.

Because they aren't. They're becoming legacy products, meaning new ones aren't being made, that's not the same as Legacy Driver Support, which won't happen for years. Quit spreading misinformation.

If you wanted to be accurate, you'd mention that the thread title is incorrect. Don't drop crap like that into a thread and expect it to be well-received when it's pure misinformation.

They have stopped production of the 900 series cards, that is all. "Legacy Driver Support" is when a product line is "EOL" or End-of-life. Not even the GTX 500 series is "EOL" yet. Nvidia hasn't EOLed anything in 2 years and is unlikely to do so until the architecture has radically evolved.
