Scan just got in a load of 8800 series cards here. Unfortunately, they're all at proper prices, meaning they're not worth choosing over the current generation with the exception of this:
320mb 8800GTS for £46
Not a great card considering the rest of the 8800 family (mainly the GT), but I'm sure it beats everything else at that price point. I won't be buying it, though. Just pleasantful musings. ^_^
I'll have to look up overclocking, or ask a friend to sit in with me whilst I do it. I'm not skilled at all, and have zero knowledge ^_^
