White widow , Oh MY God! But the public facilities are very strange. You piss out in the public view, you are only being covered from just below your crotch to just above your waist. People sit and laugh, But with really good pot, all anyone can do is laugh. Great Times >>
I love the Greenhouse Effect which is about 3 minutes from the train station. Their "special" is some of the best in town, as well as their "white widow" and a couple of their hashes.
While this used to be my favorite place in town, I got really tired of where it's located. Being just inside the red-light district and near the train station means lots of seedy people walking around.
My favorite in the land is Grey Area. It's run by a couple Americans (at least they started it and were still running it last time I was there) and they know their business. The shop is small even by coffeeshop standards, but their selection is top notch. They generally have a couple different unique strands. Of the hashes they have, "the wobbler" and "yellow cab" are fantastic. They were the inventors of "double bubble" and the "silver haze" strands which stand out from the usual selection most stores have. They are good friends with Jerome Baker, so he blows lots of exclusive glass for this place. There is generally 20-30 nice glass waterpipes from Jerome Baker sitting around the shop ready for you to use. The locals in this shop are also pretty friendly and the owners are great guys. It's located about a block and a half from the Anne Frank house (half a block north, one block towards town).
Other nice shops around town to look out for are de Dampkring. These guys have an outreagous amount of bud in their shop. Lots of unique and hard to find varieties. If they have the "white russian," pick it up by all means. They've had it once out of four times to the shop and it is great. So white you can barely see the green buds.
All the Rokerij shops are nice. There's three (maybe 4) around town and all are nicely decorated and they have superior smoke as well.
The Greenhouse way down South (an hour walk from train station at least) is really good. The "super silver haze" was outstanding. So white with crystals. Similar to the "white russian."
Also, Dutch Flowers is a good shop. I liked Pink Floyd as well, but their selection is pretty run of the mill.
