No problem, Tullphan. More deals!!!
For OhioState, SVC is generally pretty good. I've ordered from them many times. They're especially great if you're getting something lightweight because they can mail it First Class Mail (under 13oz) for some really cheap shipping prices. Also, they kind of base final shipping price on weight of order, not a "per item" shipping price. For instance, at Newegg if you buy three items and each item runs about $6 shipping, you end up paying $18 shipping. At SVC, it may be the first item costs $6 shipping, but after you add in all three items shipping only goes up to $10. I'm just making up numbers, but you get the point. I've had occasional errors in my orders but they've made up for it on their dime. Examples: They shipped me the wrong color cold cathode and reimbursed me for my cost in shipping the wrong one back (this was back when cathodes cost more). What other company would do that? I didn't even have to ask for it, their email said "mail it to us at this address, and then email us with your cost in shipping and we'll refund it to your credit card." Another example is kind of funny. I ordered a 120mm fan finger guard, specifically the "atomic" style. That's the one which looks like electrons going around a molecule. Well, they sent me the "radiation" style. I emailed them and they said they'll get the proper one out to me, and to keep the wrong one for my troubles. So, I received another "radiation" fingerguard. I emailed them again, this time with a picture I took of them and pointing out the part number on the product tag. They apologised and sent me another one for free, this time the right one. They also said that they've "corrected" the person who does the shipping - same person both times and he apparently didn't look at product number but just thought that radiation was atomic.
Oh yeah, the biggest complaints I've seen about SVC is backorders. Their site is not quite real-time inventory, so it's possible that you order something that is no longer in stock. What will happen is they will automatically put your WHOLE order on backorder without telling you, so you wait... wait... wait... for an order that never comes. Check on their site, "WTF an item is backordered and they didn't tell me?!?!?" You have to be proactive and tell them to either cancel your order or ship items now and backordered item later, or ship items now and cancel backorder. Their default is to just hold the whole order until they get the backordered item back in stock.
