There are several tripod with the same size / height at the same
price at e*ay (including shipping). They work good for my Canon S100 and HP C200.

This tripod has been this price at Amazon for quite some time. It not very good, frankly, that why it's only $5.00. The review seem to agree.

Outpost.com also has some small, nice tripods around $10 with free shipping, a better deal.

Jfy further info: the 3-month Earthlink offer, and it might still be good, has both the cheap camera _and_ a tripod. The type with the bandy-type rubberized legs. Misplaced mine, but

What would be a decent tripod pricewise? I was considering getting one, not large but stable because in using my Canon S10 without flash it tends to jiggle (more like I tend to jiggle) too much to get a decent picture. Now it would also be nice to use it on my Fuji endevor 3000ix for my film shots (of course I have to get rid of the film in there, it's been there for over a year). Thanks for any advice you can throw at me.

So what if its cheap, 5 bucks is very little to lose (7 after shipping) and it'll work pretty good just to hold it steady for night shots like madmacks said. I picked one up, thanks Madmacks.

Bought 3 of the little tripods for the xcam at x10.com and love them. Adjustable height, ball head with std mounting bolt for your camera. I took advantage of the buy 2 get one free deal and applied the $20 certificate from last month. 3 tripods for around $4 total. Shipping was free.

I'm quite sure you are right.
Every camera I've ever seen (SLR, Point and Shoot, Camcorder, etc.) uses what appears to be a 1/4" X 20 female thread for a tripod.

Uh, and o yeah - Thanks for the post!
